The bottom of every article has a section called “Related Articles”. This keeps users on the site.
4. ScienceNews
Quantity is not as important as quality – unless, of course, you are ScienceNews. Posting is frequent, even multiple times per day. Each article contains a wealth of researched information.
The “Subscribe” button is also used by them, which is a great tool to keep their users up-to-date with the content.
5. Popular Science
This science blog uses a pop-up to offer a “largely advertising-free” experience. They use ads that are well-placed and do not annoy users.
The page is super-navigable, and you can start by using the toolbar on the top. There are sections like “Science,” Tech,” “Military,” as well as the popular “Video.”
The “Roll the Dice button” is our favorite, as it gives us random articles. We got two articles in just two clicks: “Monkeys may technically be able to talk” and “The rise of personal computers.”
